I woke up this morning with a throat-ache and feeling quite balloon headed. So finding inspiration outside of my cozy bed this morning was quite a challenge! My loving boyfriend made things very easy for me me by sending me a link that he said I would enjoy. Enjoy? I love it! This artist, Sanna Annukka, has amazing talent and really inspired me to think about learing the art of screen printing. Maybe when I’m feeling better I will attempt it. Anywho….
I tried posting some of Sanna’s pics but it didnt work. Go to her website http://www.sanna-annukka.com/home/ Thank you. Oh and definitely check out the “Nine Bears” screen print. BEARS!!
Next, I’m going to ask you a question. Do you know what a “Palooka” is? You don’t? I will tell you. It is a cute little buddy with a round body, squatty arms, and a goofy face.
I found two of these critters hiding in my sewing bag. Little rascals! Here, I will show you:
I have a little business venture that was inspired by these Palookas. I would love to let the cat out of the bag now but I’m going to wait until everything is finalized. So stay tuned for the next Palooka sighting!
Lastly, we are so incredibly excited to move into the new house. We spend hours searching internet sites for furniture and room ideas. Last night we went to Barnes & Noble and looked through mags and books for inspirations. We found many! But it can start to get overwhelming. So much cute stuff in this world! We have decided that its best to take advantage of my employee discount. Who wouldn’t want a beautiful piece from Roche Bobois? We are now debating between these three sectional choices:
I think we are leaning towards the “Original.” It has the best price for leather, is very classic looking, and its comfortable. Of course, white is out of the question for my lifestyle so we will change the color. If the decision was merery based upon looks I would choose the “Milano” hands down. I will keep you posted on the final decision!

Such a great post! So many cool things…I loved that artist, too!
The Palookas are adorable, can’t wait to hear more about them…
And the sectionals are all beautiful, so I can see how you might have trouble deciding. It’s very cool that you will be able to get a piece from there. Definitely take advantage! I like the Original a lot. What color are you leaning towards?
