I was born and raised in Madison, WI. I recently spent a week visiting and while I was there I had to visit my very favorite spot in the world. The Memorial Union terrace, part of the UW campus. I’ve never seen a more beautiful scene in my life. The sun shining on the glistening greenish blue water creates the most amzing backdrop for the colorful chairs and tables. I remember these chairs as far back as I have memories. My papa used to take me down to the Union when I was a wee-one and even then I remember adoring these sunflower inspired chairs.
Another beautiful city that I had the pleasure to visit, Chicago. What an amazing city! Sadly, I lived only three hours away from Chicago while I grew up in Madison and never made a chance to visit and enjoy its splendors. But now I have and can’t wait to visit again. If the winters werent so cold I might want to move there. Here were a few pics from the trip.
Shopping at H&M… or maybe we were hunting wabbits!
