O my, O my! Sorry about the long break of un-inspiring nothingness. Time seems to be flying by lately. Where to start? Another year went by and with it went another christmas…and my car. What do I mean? Well, I got off work one night and came out to find my car with a somewhat different appearance then I had left it that morning.  Heres what I mean…

Awwww…my poor little car. He went where all cars go after they die. Car heaven. Also called the Junk Yard. Thank god the person who hit it was nice enough to leave their information. I was paid by the insurane company to get a different car. So now I have a little Toyota Corolla, which is nice, but I miss my spacious gray ford.

Ok, enough car talk. Christmas was nice and realxing this year. Just spent the day snuggling up by the fire and sporadically eating in between. I got a trip to Disney Land from Michael’s brother and sister-in-law, some Uggs and a jacket from Michael (he knows the way to my heart is through WARMTH! ), clothes from his parents, and a flight to visit my parents from my parents. I definitely made out like a bandit this year!

The first christmas in the new house was a little bare. I bought a few little decorations because we wanted to take advantage of the after holiday sales. The house was kept cozy with a little white tree Michael’s mom had given him. Heres a peek:

One of my favorite christmas presents was my trip to San Francisco from the bf. We had tons of fun! I must say, if I was going to move from San Diego I’m pretty sure this is where it would move. Its gorgeous and there so much to do! My favortite thing to do was visit all the art galleries. Now thats INSPIRING! Here are a few pics from our ventures:

I tried mussels for the first time and ONLY time too. I forced three down thinking it was an acquired taste that I needed to acquire. After three, Im pretty sure my stomach wasn’t going to abide by the “acquired taste” rule. Although, the other seafood we had was absolutely fantastic!

Thanks for reading! Hope everyone is having a great New Year so far!

  • Your house looks really cute (more pics please!) and SF looks like so much fun! Don’t give up on the mussels…I used to hate them, then over a few years’ time I would try one once in a while…finally I acquired the taste, now I love them and could eat giant platefuls of them! It could happen…:)

  • PS that has still not worked with oysters…
