Hello all! Some friend’s of Michael and mine are getting married and Kirsten, being aware of my ability to sew, asked if I would make them a wedding ring pillow. So, yesterday I ventured out to Yardage Town fabric store and picked up some materials. I’ve never made a wedding pillow and wasn’t so confident in my sewing abilites. I mean, I CAN sew but I’m just not that GOOD at it. With this being such an important little pillow for such an important day, I wanted it to look nice. There were a few points where I doubted myself and wasn’t sure if I was going to pull it off. I found myself thinking “maybe I’ll just hire someone to sew this for me.” T
In the end the results turned out fairly nice if I don’t say so myself! I based the colors off of the ’save the date’ reminder that was sent in the mail. Coral and Navy blue- what a nice combination of colors! Summery and fun yet still sophisticated. Well, take a look at this little pillow and see for yourself if I pulled it off or not…
If anyone else is interested in a wedding pillow let me know.. I had a lot of fun making it!
